A little difference

Readers may be concerned that there has been no blog entry recently and have maybe wondered whether I have got lost, fallen sick, got run over by a bus, or even died! I am happy to report that none of these is the case. We, that is myself and "she who must be obeyed" as Horace Rumpole would refer to my wife, are in fact house-sitting for our friends while they are away. This has been so relaxing and has contributed to such a "mini-vacation" feeling, that everything else has receded into the background and attained a feeling of remoteness. As in all vacations, things will alas be back to normal too soon. Makes me appreciate that enjoyment of the present is a worthwhile atitude to have!
