Although it was quite a cold and frosty day, with the suspicion that snow was imminent, we just felt the need to get out in the fresh air and go for a walk on the beach. So, with scarves, hats and gloves we ventured forth bravely. It was actually very pleasant with nobody else much on the trail except for a few dog owners who had been dragged out by their pet's imploring looks. Most of the upper areas of the beach are covered with old logs washed up over the years making for an interesting photo.
