It was a cold day, with fine rain and a cool breeze. Not a good day to visit the Butchart Gardens, although the spring crocuses in yellow and blue were in fine array outside and there were a few small daffodils around. Venturing into the weather (cannot go there without walking around) lasted all of fifteen minutes before taking refuge in the indoor garden, where it was nice and warm and flowers of all species were in full bloom and the fragrance was just perfect. Although it was tempting to take lots of photographs, I limited myself to just a few like this one. So, despite the weather, an enjoyable visit.
