Our many parts

I have quoted Shakespeare before "All the world's a stage.....one man in his time plays many parts" and this morning I got to thinking about those parts we play, from birth onwards - we are Ann's baby, Philip's son, Roger's grandchild, Jo's brother, Billy's friend, Robyn's boyfriend, Julia's partner, Butch's master, Garry's father, Judith's father-in-law, Nicola's grandfather - and, some time along the way, we managed to establish our own personality and project our individuality onto the "world's stage". In one way or another, big or small, we all contributed to "the play" and having made our many entrances, we eventually make our final exit and leave the stage to other players. We hope we have made a difference and that the "audience" will give us a round of applause!
