That time of year again?
My desk calendar has an entry for today which, when I read it this morning, gave me pause to think about those things I meant to do over Summer but never got around to doing. The entry said "Autumn begins" - a brief statement of fact with a lot of meaning! So, Summer is officially over and we can look forward to some of those beautiful Autumn (or Fall as it is termed where I live) days where we can wear a sweater, jacket and warm boots and go tramping through the fallen leaves. A brief interlude before Winter sets in and a time of year that I really enjoy, with the colours of the trees, the harvest of fruit and vegetables, the corn high in the fields and acres of pumpkins ready for Halloween. A harvest festival time of year. Enjoy it!
