Non-traditional limerick

I think we have to thank(?) Edward Lear for the Victorian popularity of the limerick. But here is one he would not be happy with because it breaks the traditional scan - it will amuse you I hope!

There once was a man in Japan
Who wrote limericks that no-one could scan.
When asked why 'twas so,
He replied "Yes I know,
But I like to get as many words into the last line as I possibly can."
