Peacock tail

No, this is not some big-eyed creature from Mars waiting in the bushes and ready to pounce on you. It's the eyes on a peacock's tail feathers - the ones that are so prominent when he is in mating display. There is a small children's zoo in the local park (just goats, chickens, ducks, a llama, rabbits and so on) where peacocks roam freely and are not afraid of being photographed. This one was sitting on a wire fence, so it was easy to get a close-up of the tail.
