A dull day, quite cold after an overnight frost, but worth the effort to get out and climb up an easy path to the top of Mount Douglas where the view over the surrounding landscape was impressive. It is not a high mountain, just a big rocky hill really and I must confess that there is an easily driveable road almost to the peak, then an easy walk up with even a seat at the top! I have no desire to hang by my fingers to an overhanging rock.
