Those Resolutions

Remember those New Year's Resolutions you made at the beginning of January? How are you doing with them? Are you still keeping them? If you are like the majority of other people who have made promises to do something, not do something, improve something and so on this year, you have "fallen by the wayside" and maybe even forgotton whatever it was you intended to do! It really is not necessary to wait until a new year to decide to improve yourself, although a new year is a new beginning and therefore a good time to do so, but you can do it any time - and particularly when you feel "the time has come". But don't make huge resolutions which will worry you to death, make small ones which you are capable of achieving (nowadays this is called "baby steps"). So you may wobble a bit, you may fall down, you may even cry a little, but you will make progress. Then reward yourself, pat yourself on the back, go and spoil yourself. Then go on.
