A new day.

The sun just peeks over the horizon, there is the promise of a good day to come and the photographer is there to capture it all! This photograph breaks one of the cardinal "rules" of composition and that is the rule of thirds, where it is recommended that the horizon should be one-third from the top or one-third from the bottom of the photograph. But in this case, the sky and the water both have equal effects to offer and breaking the rule contributes to the overall success of the image.
